Trust

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Define trust: hope – to have faith in – to seek refuge in – flee for protection to. A necessary part of trust is faith and repentance. Faith believes when there is nothing to see that makes us think our hope will come to pass. We are simply trusting and believing the promise given to us. Repentance is recognizing our inability to help ourselves, and completely relying on the word of another, who is greater and more able than us.
