Daniel 9:2-3 When Daniel understood that 70 years were now over in the
captivity of Israel, then he began to pray. It seems strange that he prayed for
the promises, but this is the Biblical example for us. We should always pray
that God will fulfill his promises to us. That is really all we have to pray
for.
When Daniel understood the promises of God toward Israel, and after he prayed
for the accomplishment of those promises, then God revealed more of his earthly
will concerning Israel to Daniel. This is exactly how it works with us. We often
want to understand more about prophecy and how things will be with us, but until
we pray for the promises God has already given to us, he will not make known to
us any more.

therefore we should diligently pray that God will be with IBC.

Acts 1:14 reveals they prayed, and in Acts 2 they received the promised
power.
