How far does grace extend itself? Or how far reaching is grace's reign?

Romans 7:21 – That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

The meaning of reign is to rule. It means to sovereignty dominate its subjects.

SIN reigns or dominates its subjects until grace overrules sin.

When Jesus died grace overruled sin, putting it to death in all of God's elect. Jesus died to set them free from the dominion of sin that ruled their life and brought them under the reign of grace. Rom 5:l7-2l.

Verse 17 – offence

Verse 18 – judgment

Verse 19 – disobedience

Verse 20 - law

All for whom Jesus died must be eventually saved. We don't know them so we preach to every creature. The only people who are under the reign of grace are the people who were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. And they don't know it until they are saved by the grace of God. Most of the saved never come to the knowledge that they were chosen to be saved.

Eph l:3-l4 – The fact of our being elected and called by Jesus Christ.

II Thess 2:l3-l4 – Paul gives thanks to God because God has chosen these to salvation from the beginning. This is why he called them by Paul’s preaching the gospel.

Grace continues to reign in the life of the elect (saved). It doesn't stop at the experience of being saved. Grace reigns in the daily life of the elect. Most people believe that God saves a person and then leaves all the serving of God to be made by him and God hopes he'll make the right decisions. If this were the case then there would be no need of praying to God to direct out actions. If we're left to lead ourselves why ask God to lead us?

II Tim 4:l8 – "And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

John l7:l5 – "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil."

II Thess 3:3 – "That no man should be moved by these affections: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto."

I Cor l0:l3 – "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able: but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Grace chastens us when we sin so that we don't completely fall from God. Heb l2:5-l2. Most people believe that if we don't do we will not get any blessings. We're already blessed with all spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world. Eph. l:3-4. The elect will work for the Lord because he is created to work and God causes him to.

Ezek 36:26-27 – God told Israel he would take away their stony heart and give them a new heart and new spirit. So he will do with us.

Phil 2:l3 – "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."

Eph 2:l0. – "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

If grace didn’t reign in the lives of the elect there wouldn't be anyone able to serve God. We're given the Holy Spirit to work in us the things that God would have us to do for him. John l4:l6-26 – Scriptures concerning how God has given us the Holy Spirit (the comforter) so we will have the means to obey and serve him.

GRACE REIGNS; THANK GOD HE DOES

Grace causes the elect to love to go to church. Grace causes people to love to tithe. Graces causes people to love the word of God. Grace leads the church to make the right decisions. Most Baptist are Arminian at heart. They believe that God doesn't cause his elect to work for him, They say he leaves that up to the people. I AM WHAT I AM BY THE GRACE OF GOD REIGNING IN MY LIFE. And so is everyone of the elect, they just won’t give God the credit. If God chastens his people how can a person believe that grace isn't reigning in their life. God doesn't chasten the lost. He lets them go in their sins.
