Acts 26:26 - For the king
knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded
that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in
a corner.
The promise of the coming Messiah is plainly given in the
Bible, and plainly fulfilled by Christ.

like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; (What kind of prophet was Moses?)

4. Israel continually murmurs against Moses.
|

Matthew 3:5 – "Then went
out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about
Jordan," Everybody knew about John, and everybody went out to be
baptized of him.
Jesus was very well known. He spent:
30 years in subjection to his mother and stepfather,
3 years teaching his disciples,
3 hours on the cross paying our sin debt, and
3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth.
Luke 5:18-26 – verse 24 – "But
that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he
said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch,
and go into thine house."
Luke 19:37 – The triumphant entry
into Jerusalem was not done in a corner, but was done publicly. "And
when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole
multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for
all the mighty works that they had seen;"
Jesus did not die/raise from the dead in a corner.
John 18:20 – "Jesus
answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the
synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret
have I said nothing."
Luke 23:33 – "And when
they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified
him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the
left."
Luke 24:13-24 – verse 18 – "And
the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou
only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to
pass there in these days?"
Acts 10:39-40 – "And we
are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in
Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40 Him God raised up the
third day, and showed him openly;"
Some people are willingly ignorant – II Peter 3:5 – "For
this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of
old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:"
II Cor. 4:3,4 – "But if
our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this
world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the
glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto
them."
