Denominational headquarters glorify themselves, not God
Israel was supposed to glorify God, but substituted their ways instead.
What Israel did – churches are doing today!!
Luke 11:52, 52 – Jesus will take away the key of knowledge from Israel.
Matthew 23:13 – Israel shut up the kingdom of God to "seekers."
Matthew 19:19 – Jesus said he would give the keys of the kingdom to the
kind of church he organized during his personal ministry.
Compare to John 4:1-2 – The church was already baptizing in the name of
Christ.
John 20:21-23 – Power (inward) of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2 – On the day of Pentecost, the church was baptized in the Holy
Ghost (outward sign of an inward belief, power, and presence).
Does every church need Holy Spirit baptism? – Every church already has it
because of perpetuity, and succession.
Today – Glory to preachers, glory to churches, glory to the biggest and
fastest growing church, glory to the best programs, very little glory to God.
