Ruth

The book of Ruth is a miracle book. It tells of a Moabite woman who became a Jew and was "grafted" into the genealogy of Christ. But before the Bible tells of Ruth, it tells of Elimelech the Jew, a man only recently moved into the land of Canaan, yet failed to believe the promises of God. He left the land flowing with milk and honey at the first sign of famine, moved to Moab where he and his two sons died. Naomi had faithfully followed her husband to this God-forsaken land, but returned as Mara, for the Lord had dealt very bitterly with her. God is always merciful, however. Ruth married Boaz, who plays the part of the kinsman redeemer and a child is born who is named Obed. Obed will become the father of Jesse, who will become the father of David, the man after God's own heart. Use any and all of these outlines as God directs. I only ask that you make the outline your own. Do not preach my message, but transform the message to your own personal style, and LIVE the word of God - everyday, all day.
